Right of Withdrawal & Refunds

How purchases, subscriptions, refunds, and your right of withdrawal work for UGCut.

Overview: two plans, two channels

UGCut is free to download, with the full core loop included. Pro is optional and comes as an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or annual; the annual plan includes a 7-day free trial) or a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown before you buy and may change.

You can buy in-app through Apple or, for the web and creator channel, on the web through a third-party payments provider. We never receive or store your card details on either channel.

Managing and cancelling a subscription

Free trial. The annual plan's 7-day free trial converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel before it ends. Cancel during the trial to avoid being charged.

Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends.

Apple-channel. Manage or cancel in Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions (or App Store → Subscriptions). Apple controls renewal and cancellation timing.

Web-channel. Manage or cancel anytime in the web billing portal linked from your account. Cancelling stops future renewals; your access continues to the end of the paid period.

Lifetime. A one-time purchase with no renewal — there is nothing to cancel.

Refunds

Apple-channel (subscriptions and lifetime). Refunds are handled by Apple under the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. Use Apple's self-service portal:

You can also request a refund from within iOS via Settings → your Apple ID → Media & Purchases → Purchase History. Apple decides on refunds at its discretion and in accordance with applicable law.

Web-channel (web subscriptions). Refunds are handled by us and our payments provider in accordance with these terms and your statutory rights; contact support@ugcut.com or use the web billing portal.

Creator commission note. For the creator program, commissions on refunded or charged-back subscriptions are reversed — see the creator terms.

EU right of withdrawal for digital purchases

Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you generally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a distance contract for digital content or services, without giving any reason.

Apple-channel. For App Store purchases, the contract is concluded with Apple, and you exercise withdrawal through Apple's process (the refund route above).

Web-channel. For purchases made directly with us on the web, the contract is with the Provider. You may exercise the 14-day withdrawal right by contacting support@ugcut.com with a clear statement (a model withdrawal form may be offered). For subscriptions and services, if you ask us to begin immediately, you acknowledge that once performance has begun you may owe a proportionate amount for what was provided up to your withdrawal.

Early expiry of the right of withdrawal

Under EU law, the right of withdrawal for digital content can expire early once the supply of that content has begun, where you have given your prior express consent to immediate performance and acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. For the web channel this consent is captured at checkout; for Apple purchases it is requested within Apple's checkout flow.
